Chinese Tea Custom
Confucius and Mencius, the roots of Chinese civilization, the basic thoughts of ethical pedagogy, has cast the land well know as a land of propriety and righteousness. As early as before Wei-Jin and the Northern and Southern Dynasties, the old Tea Ceremony were popular, and that was a similar traditional ethical code pedagogy different in approach but equally satisfactory. And the Tea Ceremony, since the Tang Dynasty, became more and more blooming in almost every important government affairs to express the Chinese philosophical understanding of what the world and human life is. Up till the Ning Dynasty, the tea ceremony has been gotten a further evolution and the locals employed the ceremony in their day-to-day life, which is so a vast use that, even in the family life, the family would regarded as not a propriety family if there be no tea ceremony to entertain guests. There is an old saying "No tea cermony, no propriety family."
